HealthEquity Virtual Community Guidelines

HealthEquity’s social channels exist to support informed, respectful conversation about healthcare savings, benefits administration, and financial well-being. These Virtual Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) apply to all HealthEquity-managed pages and accounts on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and any future platforms we may use.

By interacting with our social media channels—including posting, commenting, sharing, or messaging—you agree to abide by these Guidelines. We reserve the right to update them at any time.

Content posted on our social media channels is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult with qualified professionals regarding your specific situation. HealthEquity does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for third-party content, links, or recommendations shared on our channels.

Nothing posted on HealthEquity social media pages should be construed as an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security, insurance product, or other financial instrument.

Content Standards

The following content is prohibited on our social media channels:

  • Harassment, bullying, or threatening language
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Spam, solicitation, or unauthorized advertising
  • Obscene or sexually explicit material
  • Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Sharing of personal or confidential information
  • Malicious links or phishing attempts
  • False or misleading claims about HealthEquity products and services

AI, Impersonation & Misinformation

Do not use AI-generated content to impersonate HealthEquity representatives or spread misinformation about our products and services. Accounts engaging in such behavior will be blocked and reported to the relevant platform.

HealthEquity employees who post on behalf of the company must identify themselves as such and follow all applicable company policies regarding social media use.

Moderation Policies

HealthEquity reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Guidelines and to block users who repeatedly violate our community standards. We monitor our channels during business hours and strive to respond to legitimate inquiries promptly.

Moderation decisions are made at our sole discretion and are final. We are not obligated to provide notice or explanation for content removal or account restrictions.

Comment and Posting Policy

We welcome constructive conversation and feedback on our social media channels. We may respond to comments, questions, and direct messages at our discretion. Response times may vary. For urgent account or benefits questions, please contact Member Services directly.

HealthEquity is not responsible for comments or content posted by third parties on our social media pages. Third-party posts do not reflect the views or opinions of HealthEquity.

Posting of Personal Identifying Information

For your security, never post personal identifying information such as account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive data on social media. If you need account-specific assistance, please contact our Member Services team directly at 866-346-5800.

Use of Public Content

By posting content on HealthEquity social media channels, you grant HealthEquity a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with our social media presence and marketing activities.
